The food was pretty good. I had the catfish mashed potatoes and beans. The fish came out very hot which was nice. The one thing I can say is they have the best service I have had in a long time at any restaurant. All of the employees here were very friendly and offering to fill drinks every few minutes.

Was my first Time Through Gatesville Tx and this was top recommended and I see why! Service was sweet, duration was short, and the catfish is the best I've ever had! My teens loved their dishes, my daughter had a salad that was great portion size for a large salad, and my son got the burger which he said was better than most he's had! We are definitely coming back and recommending!
Good food and great service. We had the steak fingers and chicken/bacon poppers. The bacon withing the poppers was not cooked well but other than that they were good. We also had the buttermilk pie and blueberry cheesecake which were both also good. Iced tea was perfect!
Cool look to this restaurant with all the vintage decor. Southwest burger is very good and there's lots of beef on it. Love the fried green beans! The chicken fried steak is very good. Fall steak. Not chewy!
We stopped here after it was recommended to us by the nice folks at the county museum a block away. They said there were lots of old antique on the walls. We both ordered steaks, the wife also got a side salad and baked potato while I ordered a steak with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Our waitress was friendly and efficient; we received our food in no time. Everything was cooked to perfection, the salad was crisp and the coleslaw fresh. It was a great lunch stop along the road.
